Model Type : Lightweight aluminium gents road/race bike. Frame Construction : Lightweight 6061 aluminium mainframe with bottle bosses and rear mudguard clearance. Relaxed road geometry with sloping top tube. Replaceable rear gear dropout.
Forks : Hi Tensile steel bladed with mudguard clearance. Wheel Size : 700c with Kenda Koncept 23c all black wall tyres. Gears : Shimano 14 speed indexed gears with Shimano SL-A050 handlebar mount control levers. Shimano 7 speed 14/28T freewheel.
Chainset : Shimano A050 double road 42/52T chainset with 170mm alloy cranks. Chainring chainguard. Sealed cartridge bottom bracket. Wheel Specification : Viking A-350 36 hole deep section alloy rims with KT small flange quick release front hub and black rustless spokes. Machined braking surfaces with wear level indicators. Brakes : Alloy side pull calliper brakes with alloy levers.
Handlebar and Stem : Promax 1 1/8" white alloy ahead stem with Promax 42cm alloy road handlebars. Low stack ahead headset. Under tape cable routing. Viking black cork tape. Shimano handlebar indexed shifters are fitted for effortless gear changing. Highlights include 36 hole Viking deep section alloy rims with quick release front hub and Shimano derailleurs. The larger 700C wheels with narrow 23C tyres and higher gearing make it easier to achieve and maintain higher speeds than a mountain bike or hybrid. The Milano comes equipped with a 14 speed transmission using a 14-28 Shimano freewheel on the rear and a Shimano 44/52T chainset with lightweight alloy crank arms. Powerful alloy calliper brakes are fitted to slow the bike in all conditions. Another ideal entry level bike for mid-long distance training.
