The Mizani Aero 100 comes equipped with a Shimano 14 speed transmission, comprising of Shimano A050 bar mount shifters for reilable shifting, Shimano A050 derailleurs - front and rear, Shimano TZ21 14/28T freewheel on the rear and a 48-38T double chain set with cartridge bottom bracket system. The larger 700C wheels with narrow 25C tyres and higher gearing make it easier to achieve and maintain higher speeds, than with a mountain or hybrid bike. A 41cm wide alloy road handlebar is coupled with a 1 1/8" alloy ahead stem for an aerodynamic riding position and improved handling. Powerful side pull alloy road calliper brakes are fitted for controlled braking in all conditions. Highlights include 36 hole deep section double walled rims with computer controlled finishing on the braking surface for smooth braking, lightweight alloy hubs with quick release front hub and padded sports saddle.
